Another day, same as the others. Talk…great. Walk…great. Food…great.

Check back tomorrow for another exciting installment!

OK, say maybe a blog entry requires a little more, although that attempt certainly reflects the current state of tiredness in the camp.

The key word for the morning was RETURN and we spent time looking at the parable of the lost sheep. We saw how we are all lost sheep who have wandered away from God but our shepherd came to look for us. Not only is he the good shepherd but he also became a sheep who was sacrificed for us. Once again we saw how incredible Jesus is and how much God loves us!

At lunchtime we were dropped off in Hawkshead for our epic walk back through the hills. We enjoyed breathtaking scenery and not too many complaints. It was a great time of getting to know each other better and of talking over some of the things we’ve been hearing about this week in a really relaxed setting. We all made it back safely and had a subdued evening meal before building boats and heading to the lake to sail them. We’ve added in the extra element of trying to sink each others boats so we should be in for an entertaining evening!
