Camp 2020 is cancelled, long live Camp Online!
We are very sad to announce that camp won’t be going ahead as normal this year due to COVID-19 but we are excited to announce that we will be moving camp online!! This will of course look very different to a normal week on camp, although we will do our best to keep some of the important aspects of camp running even online! This will include our teaching times, along with fun and games, the all important score board, challenges and friendship!
This is a new adventure for all of us so please do be patient as we put together the programme. If you have any questions along the way we will be more than happy to answer them and discuss any concerns or questions with you.
Here is all the information we have so far:
Dates: Mon 3rd -Wed 5th August
Times: 10:00-12:00 & 15:00-17:00
Plus: Wed 5th 20:00-21:00
Campers will be split into “tents” for the online meetings which will include:
- Main teaching session led by our regular teaching team
- Small group discussions
- Our usual camp “theme”
- Activities and games with some challenges to do outside of the sessions
- Closing night “camp fire”
The price is £10 per “camper” which includes:
- Access to our password protected Zoom camp calls
- A camper booklet
- A helpful book relating to the themes of the teaching
- Resources needed for games or activities
- A programme of activities for you and your ‘campers’ to take part in
Our new online camp booking system is now up and running. We know some of you already booked onto camp, but we ask for you to rebook as some of the information has changed.
We would also love to welcome people who were not able to make it to camp ordinarily, and so we would love to welcome any friends or previous campers who had not already booked on to camp 2020!
