Reunion and Taster Weekend – Saturday 27th April 2013
Can you feel the excitement people! Summer will soon be here, and that means Compass Camps. But if you can’t wait for that we are running a special day/weekend in April.
On Saturday 27th April we will be running a full day of camp just like we would up in the Lake District. However, we thought we would go one step further, and actually hold it in Coniston! Yep, you read that right. The event will be held in the very place camp will be this summer.
There are two aims to this event:
1) What’s camp like? – may be you are thinking of attending Compass Camp this summer, but really have no idea what it’s all about. Well, this is the perfect opportunity to try out camp and see if its for you. You can meet all us crazy people who will be there this summer, marvel at the stunning scenery, and have a go at some of the great activities on offer.
2) Reunion – for all you previous campers come and catch up with your friends and find out what they’ve been up to, as well as having ridiculous amounts of fun – guaranteed!
The plan for the day is to meet in Lancaster at 10am and from there we will drive up to Coniston. We will spend the full day there, aiming to arrive back in Lancaster for 8pm.
For some campers you may wish to make a weekend out of this event arriving on the Friday night, leaving during the weekend. If this is your plan can you let us know so that we can see how many would need accommodation.
