As the start of camp approaches and we rush to complete all the last minute preparations we are conscious of our need to be prayerful and trust God in everything. The smallest thing can upset the careful planning and it’s easy to get frustrated and stressed when things go wrong. Only last night when collecting the trailer a seized brake meant waiting for breakdown recovery unable to do what we’d planned and a late night… not what you want just before camp! But these things are in God’s hands and it gave us the chance to sit down, take a break from the business of preparation and reflect on God’s goodness and our reliance on Him.
